Rachel Albright

these are the newest images. I've been steering away from people lately, because they tend to be understood as just portraits of old people. let me know what you think.

These images definitely fit with everything else I've seen. I was wondering if you have decided how to display them, and how many you intend to print?
I think it's important that your images create a loose narrative, and I think these images supplement that nicely. They are very telling of a southern, small town, especially the house photo because of the huge, grassy foreground. I think if I took a photo of my parents house in northern VA with that same composition, I'd be at the front door of the neighbors across the street. The amount of land you captured in the image gives the impression of this home existing in area where neighbors are miles away, and I find that to be very effective.
