im liking these new images. they have a bit different feel though. i think they're a little happier and the people look a bit happier in these. i think its good to have a bit of a mix however because not only do we learn from the bad things but we learn from the good as well so its actually nice to see some people with more of a smile on their face. i love the children in the first image, the wheelchair is barely noticeable, i had to really look to see it and the female figure comes across as mom to me. that may change depending on the audio you use but either way i think the image is strong. i like the atmosphere in the last image but the main guy kind of looks like hes mock posing the peace sign because of the way he is holding that pabst which depending on the quote may work. the middle one is quite interesting as well. i like that its a 20/30 year old woman, it adds more diversity in the people you have talked with which is great because it only adds another perspective, which for this project is necessary. im diggin it, cant wait to see the light boxes!!!

i agree with rachel, the first photo is just awesome, i love how the kids interact with the camera and railing, they just seem so comfortable. i dont think it matters whether the figure in the background comes off as the mother, but she does. the arrangement of her and the kids makes a nice triangle to guide your eyes, i really love the composition. i also had no idea you were presenting with audio, that should really make this body of work something impressive, i'm excited to see. you should have a good range of diversity with the different locations, races, age groups. i'd say if any, the last photo is least fitting, just because the other photographs seem more geniune while the third seems a little staged because of the guy posing for the camera, i hate when people do that.

I love the perspective in these images!!

I have no clue what the story is behind them, but I really like what I am seeing. I saw your images previously in the blog, and the subjects look so down-trodden, it is nice to see a different take.

I love how the kids are interacting with the camera, and the slight distortion in that first image.
But I agree that the last image the guy in the forefront looks a little too posed. im not sure if that was intentional or not though...
